Some quotes that should really make you think...
“Wrong is wrong even if everybody’s doing it, and right is right, even if nobody’s doing it.”
" It would be much wiser at once to pull down the whole than to continue the system of patchwork of which the Newtonian theory exists.”
— Sir Richard Phillips.
Newton dismisses the law of attractive gravity as pure insanity in a letter to Bentley...
“That gravity should be innate, inherent, and essential to matter, so that one body can act upon another at a distance through a vacuum without the mediation of anything else, by and through which their action and force may be conveyed from one to another, is to me so great an absurdity that I believe no man, who has in philosophical matters a competent faculty of thinking, can ever fall into it.”
Here is a letter from Newton to Halley, describing how he had independently arrived at the inverse square law using his aether hypothesis, to which he refers as the 'descending spirit':
"....Now if this spirit descends from above with uniform velocity, its density and consequently its force will be reciprocally proportional to the square of its distance from the center. But if it descended with accelerated motion, its density will everywhere diminish as much as the velocity increases, and so its force (according to the hypothesis) will be the same as before, that is still reciprocally as the square of its distance from the center"
"Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality."
"That electrical energy can be economically transmitted without wires to any terrestrial distance, I have unmistakably established in numerous observations, experiments and measurements, qualitative and quantitative. These have demonstrated that is practicable to distribute power from a central plant in unlimited amounts, with a loss not exceeding a small fraction of one per cent, in the transmission, even to the greatest distance, twelve thousand miles — to the opposite end of the globe."
"I hold that space cannot be curved, for the simple reason that it can have no properties. It might as well be said that God has properties. He has not, but only attributes and these are of our own making. Of properties we can only speak when dealing with matter filling the space. To say that in the presence of large bodies space becomes curved is equivalent to stating that something can act upon nothing. I, for one, refuse to subscribe to such a view."
“An unalterable rotational velocity thru all phases of planetary evolution is manifestly impossible. The truth is, the so-called “axial rotation” of the moon is a phenomenon deceptive alike to the eye and mind and devoid of physical meaning. The moon does rotate, not on its own, but about an axis passing thru the center of the earth, the true and only one.”
“Though free to think and act, we are held together like the stars in the firmament, with ties inseparable. These ties cannot be seen, but we can feel them, each of us is only part of a whole.” ~Nikola Tesla
As has happened to me before and I am sure will happen again. Many quotes are sometimes applied to an incorrect person... and this needs to stop. I hate liars and whomever said that Tesla said the following two quotes needs to find where or apologize for saying something that others believed and repeated... including myself. I can't blame others though, as it is my fault for not following up. Until told otherwise Nicola Tesla DID NOT say these next two quotes...
"Earth is a realm, it is not a planet. It is not an object, therefore, it has no edge. Earth would be more easily defined as a system environment. Earth is also a machine, it is a Tesla coil. The sun and moon are powered wirelessly with the electromagnetic field (the Aether). This field also suspends the celestial spheres with electo-magnetic levitation. Electromagnetic levitation disproves gravity because the only force you need to counter is the electromagnetic force, not gravity. The stars are attached to the FIRMAMENT." ~ NOT Nikola Tesla
"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration." ~ NOT Nikola Tesla
“As an engineer of many years’ standing, I say that this absurd allowance (for curvature) is only permitted in school books. . . . I have projected many miles of railway, and many more of canals, and curvature has not even been thought of, much less allowed for.”
— Mr. W. Winckler, C.E
“If the speed of light were discovered not to be constant, modern scientific theory would be devastated.”
“The discovery casts doubts on all contemporary concepts of the nature and development of the universe. Even the Einstein theory of relativity seems obsolete now. Until recently space and time were believed to have unfolded in a chaotic way after the Big Bang, and the universe was thought to be homogeneous and expanding continuously. Now scientists will have to acquiesce to an ordered way of development of the universe as if it was born and develops in compliance with a scenario written beforehand.”
-Leonid Speransky, an astrophysicist and professor with the Lomonosov State University in Moscow.
"I know that most men…can seldom accept even the simplest and most obvious truth if it be such as would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions which they have delighted in explaining to colleagues, which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabric of their lives.”
"A natural interpretation is that concentric spherical shells of higher galaxy number densities surround us, with their individual centers situated at our location. However, if this interpretation reflected the actual physical concentration of galaxies existing at certain distances from us, it would definitely be incompatible with the cosmological principle that presumes uniformity and isotropy of our space–time. In fact, it has been demonstrated, from many numerical simulations using the Einstein–de Sitter and ΛCDM models, that the probability of getting such a periodic spatial structure from clustering and cosmic web filaments is less than 10−3."
-Observational Tests for Oscillating Expansion Rate of the Universe by Koichi Hirano and Zen Komiya
Department of Physics, Tokyo University of Science
“Perhaps it is time for astronomers to pause and wonder whether they know too much and understand too little.”
"People need to be aware that there is a range of models that could explain the observations. For instance, I can construct you a spherically symmetrical universe with Earth at its center, and you cannot disprove it based on observations. You can only exclude it on philosophical grounds. In my view there is absolutely nothing wrong in that. What I want to bring into the open is the fact that we are using philosophical criteria in choosing our models. A lot of cosmology tries to hide that.”
-George Ellis, a famous cosmologist, in Scientific American, "Thinking Globally, Acting Universally", October 1995
“If it be granted that the Earth moves, it would seem more natural to suppose that there is no system at all, but only scattered globes, than to construct a system of which the sun is the center"
"It were better to have no opinion of God at all, than such an opinion, as is unworthy of him."
"Nothing doth more hurt in a state than that cunning men pass for wise."
One of the quotes that sent me on the path to uncover the biggest deception ever. This is when I realized all scientists have a world view and will do whatever they can to push it.
"Such a condition would imply that we occupy a unique position in the universe, analogous, in a sense, to the ancient conception of a central earth. The hypothesis cannot be disproved but it is unwelcome and would be accepted only as a last resort in order to save the phenomena. Therefore, we disregard this possibility and consider the alternative, namely, a distribution which thins out with distance.
A thinning out would be readily explained in either of two ways... Both explanations seem plausible, but neither is permitted by the observations. The apparent departures from uniformity in the World Picture are fully compensated by the minimum possible corrections for redshifts on any interpretation. No margin is left for a thinning out. The true distribution must either be uniform or increase outward, leaving the observer in a unique position. But the unwelcome supposition of a favoured location must be avoided at all costs….Such a favoured position, of course, is intolerable … Therefore, in order to restore homogeneity, and to escape the horror of a unique position, the departures from uniformity, which are introduced by the recession factors, must be compensated by the second term representing effects of spatial curvature. There seems to be no other escape."
“One can of course believe anything one likes as long as the consequences of that belief are trivial. But when survival depends on belief, then it matters that belief corresponds to manifest reality. We therefore teach navigators that the stars are fixed to the Celestial Sphere, which is centered on a fixed earth and around which it rotates in accordance with laws clearly deduced from common-sense observation. The Sun and the Moon move across the inner surface of this sphere, and hence perforce go around the Earth. This means that students of navigation must unlearn a lot of the confused dogma they learned in school. Most of them find this remarkably easy, because dogma is as maybe, but the real world is as we perceive it to be.”
-in a letter to New Scientist (16 August 1979), Darcy Readyhoff, lecturer in navigation at RAF Cranwell
“We are unreconstructed geocentrists hiding behind a Copernican veneer.”
“Equations, however impressive and complex, cannot arrive at the truth if the initial assumptions are incorrect.”
“It is really quite amazing by what margins competent but conservative scientists and engineers can miss the mark, when they start with the preconceived idea that what they are investigating is impossible. When this happens, the most well-informed men become blinded by their prejudices and are unable to see what lies directly ahead of them.”
“If Michelson-Morley is wrong, then Relativity is wrong.”
“I have come to believe that the motion of the Earth cannot be detected by any optical experiment.”
"As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality."
“Human knowledge and skills alone cannot lead humanity to a happy and dignified life. Humanity has every reason to place the proclaimers of high moral standards and values above the discoverers of objective truth."
“It follows from this that our notions of physical reality can never be final. We must always be ready to change these notions.”
